I was recently thinking about sexual positions that I love… and I realized that like Eskimos who have many words for snow, shouldn’t we have more words to describe the thing we enjoy most?
This led me to wonder whether there is a classier term than pegging? Or something more elevated than doggy?Finally, what about my Supreme Asian Cowgirl position, what should I call that?
I have two clients who are pretty smart, one is a Taoist scholar and the other a scientist, both of whom seem to love my feet. So I asked them to name this lovely position where I’m pleasing him orally while he is happily licking my toes.
The Taoist guy said, “We can call this position 双鱼戏水 (shuāng yú xì shuǐ), which translates to twin fishes playing in water, nibbling each other.” This evokes the image of two koi fish swimming in a tight circle, kissing each other’s tails. Very yin yang!
And the scientist said, “Since there are ten toes, I guess we could make this similar to 69, by calling this 6 to the power of 10, since there are ten toes, and your toes hold so much power over me.” How clever!
To create a name in the style of ancient Chinese sex manuals (such as the famous Su Nü Jing or Classic of the White Tigress, we have to look to nature, mythology, and Taoist philosophy. Ancient Chinese texts avoided explicit anatomical terms, instead using poetic metaphors involving animals, weather, and the cosmos.
For example, Taoist texts often refer to sexual fluids as “jade nectar,” and oral sex as drinking from the source of life. So I suppose we should call my fire and ice blowjob 冰火琼浆 (bīnghuǒ qióngjiāng) which translates to Ice and Fire Jade Nectar.
How about pegging? I think a classier name would be 龙珠钻探 (lóngzhū zuāntàn), which translates to Dragon Pearl Drilling. The prostate would be the pearl and my strap on the drill. Of course, you are the dragon!
Finally, what about my Supreme Asian Cowgirl position? I like calling it “Yumi Style”, but a loftier name for this sexual act might be 乾坤交转 (qián kūn jiāo zhuǎn) which translates to Heaven and Earth Reversing. Qian and Kun represent the cosmic forces of male and female. Jiao Zhuan means rotating, exchanging, or turning upside down.
